TRADING SUCCESSFULLY FOR 92 YEARS

Smiths City Group Limited is a Christchurch based holding company for a group of businesses with operating revenues in excess of $227million; employing over 750 staff and with approximately 2,350 shareholders.  The Group’s shares are listed on the New Zealand Stock Exchange under the stock code SCY.

The Group’s activities are concentrated in three areas – retail; finance; property.

Smiths City was founded by Henry Cooper Smith in 1918 and has traded from its Colombo Street, Christchurch site from this date.
