In these uncertain and unprecedented times, we recognise and welcome the need to take extreme measures to continue keeping our customers, teams, and communities safe.Following Monday’s announcement from the Government and the planned move to COVID-19 Alert Level 4 from Wednesday, we’re getting ready to take further steps to respond to the circumstances.As at 5pm Wednesday, 25 March, we are temporarily closing our doors – both in-store and online – until further notice while we unite against COVID-19. Here’s what that means for Smiths City Our stores and distribution centres will temporarily close until further notice All stores and distribution centres closed at 5pm Wednesday, 25 March, and will stay closed until we’re able to reopen. We expect this to be for the duration of the COVID-19 Alert Level 4, which the government expects to last for at least four weeks at this stage. Online shopping will temporarily close until further notice We’re sorry to say that online ordering will be unavailable. We’ve done our very best to get as many orders as possible dispatched by 5pm Wednesday, but please be aware that we expect deliveries to be delayed until we’re able to reopen after Alert Level 4 is lifted.If you have an order that we aren’t able to dispatch before we go into lockdown, you’ll hear from our Customer Support team directly in the coming days.
